Description

No. 8 is an early 19th-century house on the north-west side of St. Martin-at-Palace Plain. It is constructed of red brick with a black pantile roof. The house is three storeys high and has four bays. A carriage entry is located in the right-hand bay, featuring a segmental arch constructed with rubbed brick. The central bay on the left-hand side contains a door with a semi-circular fanlight and a double-order arch. Sash windows with glazing bars are present throughout, each with a rubbed brick flat arch. A fascia cornice runs along the top of the building.
