Description

No. 47 Colegate is a former house that has been converted into offices and was empty at the time of the re-survey. This building dates from the 18th century and is constructed of red brick with a black pantile roof. It has an L-shaped corner plan and stands three storeys tall with five bays. The central doorcase features a pediment, pilasters, and rustication, with three steps leading up to it. The building has sash windows throughout, which include glazing bars and rubbed brick flat arches. A fascia cornice runs along the top, and the roof is hipped.
