Description

Regency House is a mid-19th century former house, now used as offices. It is located on the west side of Duke Street, with an L-shaped corner plan. The building is constructed of red brick with a slate roof. It has two storeys and five bays facing Duke Street. The left-hand door is off-centre, featuring raised panels and a semi-circular fanlight with curvilinear glazing bars and a reeded surround. Sash windows are present throughout with rubbed brick flat arches above. The building has a paired modillion cornice and a hipped roof.
