Description

No. 73 The Close is an office building dating from the early 19th century. It is constructed of red brick and features a pantile roof. The building is two storeys high and has three bays. The central entrance consists of a panelled door set within a semi-circular arch, which is adorned with a traceried fanlight. The windows throughout are sash style, complete with glazing bars and rubbed brick segmental arches. A paired modillion cornice adds to the architectural detail of the structure.
