Description
21 Tombland is a former house that has been converted into a restaurant, dating from the mid-18th century. The building is constructed of white brick with a rendered plinth and features a slate roof. It has two storeys and consists of three bays, plus an additional single-storey bay. The central door is set within a plain surround. The building has sash windows throughout, with a three-light window on the ground floor that has segmental arches, keystones, and shallow segmental arches with raised and moulded surrounds on the first floor. There are rusticated quoins, a string course at first floor level, and a paired vertical band brick cornice. The roof includes three pedimented dormers with casements and a hipped roof over the single-storey bay.
