Description
25 Tombland is a former coach house dating from the early 19th century. The building is constructed of white brick with a slate roof and consists of two storeys. It features two single-bay blocks that are connected by a tall brick semi-circular arch. The 20th-century restaurant facades are set within 19th-century openings that have segmental arches. Each bay has a single sash window on the first floor, which includes glazing bars and rubbed brick flat arches. The building also has a box cornice and hipped roofs.
To the north is an 18th-century building made of red brick, also two storeys high and comprising three bays. It has a bowed oriel window on the left side, with sash windows featuring glazing bars and rubbed brick flat arches elsewhere. The interior of this northern building is continuous with No. 25.
