Description
No. 143, Kets Hill is a mid-19th century house built in the Victorian Gothic style. The exterior is roughcast with a 2-span pantiled roof. The house is two storeys high, with three first-floor windows facing the street at a right angle to it. A projecting porch is centrally located and features a 20th-century half-glazed door sheltered by a pantiled roof; the side walls of the porch contain casement windows. Most of the casement windows have lattice glazing bars and are topped with simple wooden drip moulds. A plain rendered wall extends to the left, and there are two similar ground-floor windows facing Ketts Hill. The house is set well back above the street.
