Description

Bishop Bridge is a bridge dating from around 1340 and is constructed of flint with brick dressings, as well as stone and brick. It features three spans of segmental stone arches supported by piers. The bridge has a parapet with a semi-circular return at the west end and includes a wrought-iron lamp-standard on the north side. It is also scheduled as an Ancient Monument.
