Description
Hill House is a mid-19th century residential home built from gault brick. It has a T-shaped plan and stands two storeys high, featuring a gabled wing to the east. The house is topped with low-pitch slate roofs. There are five recessed hung sash windows with glazing bars on both the first and ground floors, all set within segmental arches. The eaves cornice is supported by shaped wooden brackets, and the wing has a bargeboard with a reduced finial. At either end of the building, there are two tall stacks with saw-tooth brick cornices. The garden wall is marked by brick piers topped with cast iron caps featuring acorn finials. This building is included for its group value.
