Description

EDGEFIELD TG 03 SE 6/15 Merrisons Farm House 150m north-west of Parish Church of St Peter and St Paul II House, C18, brick with black glazed pantiles. Single range of 3 cells. Two storeys. Gable end stacks. Double sashes with glazing bars, 3 to first floor; altered positions, perhaps originally 5; blocked windows with coloured headers. Plain platband, dogs tooth cornice. Central door with single storey porch in wood with fretwork barge boards. Right hand gable in flint with brick dressings. Continuous outshut to rear raised to 2 storeys; flint with brick dressings; oversailing cornice; C20 casements. Interior: timber framed partition between central and right hand bay; curved braces to first floor; right hand room with segmental moulded fireplace arch, bar stopped chamfered beams.
