Description

This is a barn located 20 meters north of Ivy Farmhouse, originating from the 17th century but romanticised in the late 18th century. It is constructed of flint and brick with a thatched roof and features one storey and a dormer attic. There is a timber door positioned to the right of the center, with a honeycomb ventilation panel to the left and a 20th-century casement window to the right. Above, there is a hayloft door beneath a through-eaves eyebrow dormer, and to the right of this dormer, a 2-light mullioned window can be found. The barn has a gabled roof, with tumbling in the south gable head and two square windows in the north gable. Inside, the barn has a floor made of chamfered bridging beams and floorboards, although the roof was not accessible during the last survey.
