Description
Dairy Farm House is a farmhouse dating from around 1700. It features a stucco exterior and a red pantiled roof. The building is two storeys high with attics and has five bays, including an outshut at the rear and two attached wings. The front has four ground floor sashes and five first floor sashes, all with glazing bars. The ground floor sashes have been lengthened with added blind boxes. There is a central door topped by a simple rectangular fanlight, and two gabled casement dormers with leaded lights. The eaves are adorned with a wooden modillion cornice, and there are brick kneelers and crow-stepped end gables with stacks.
The west wing, built around 1830, is constructed of red brick and has a red pantiled roof. It contains three ground floor sashes and three first floor sashes, along with a further returned wing that has two ground floor sashes and one first floor sash, plus a south hipped gable return with one ground floor and one first floor sash. This wing features two ridge stacks and includes a single storey conservatory with a decorative barge board gable.
To the north, there is a white gault brick wing with a black glazed pantiled roof, connected by a single storey corridor. This wing has three ground floor sashes and four first floor sashes with glazing bars, along with two end gable stacks. Additionally, there is a single storey gault brick and black pantiled wing to the east.
