Description

Pond Cottage is a house dating from the early 18th century, constructed of brick and flint with a glazed black pantile roof. The building has a rectangular shape and features a front with five bays and two storeys. It has a flint plinth and 20th-century casement windows set in original square-headed openings, which are topped with rubbed and gauged brick arches on the ground floor and soldier arches on the upper floor. The central doorcase is made of moulded brick and includes pilasters and a pediment adorned with dentils. There is an outshut to the left and single-storey extensions to the right and rear, which are of no special interest.
