Description

The entrance gates, gate piers, and railings at the former north entrance to Gunthorpe Hall were constructed around 1880. They are made of red brick with freestone dressings and cast iron. The classical piers feature stone shields on the inner piers and ball finials. The gates and iron railings exhibit a more distinctively High Victorian style.
