Description

The gate piers, pedestrian gates, and railings at the entrance to Grendon Hall date from around 1882. There is a pair of gate piers made of red brick, featuring stone bases, moulded cornices, and obelisk finials. Flanking the piers are wrought iron pedestrian gates, which have standard panels adorned with wavy Ionic pilasters and scrolled overthrows. The railings are also wrought iron, characterized by scrolled standards. The carriage gates are missing.
