Description
Station Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from around 1700. It features a rendered facade, while the rear and west gable are constructed from flint with brick dressings, topped with a black glazed pantiled roof. The building has a two-storey lobby entrance plan and includes a single-storey stable attached to the east. On the ground floor, there are two 20th-century two-light casement windows, and on the first floor, there are three similar casement windows. The farmhouse has a brick dentil eaves cornice and a steeply pitched roof with a west gable and axial stacks, including a stack attached to the east gable and stable. The west gable, which features brick quoins and a blocked brick-dressed ground-floor window, suggests that part of the structure may predate 1700. The attached stable and loft on the east side are made of flint with brick dressings, are whitewashed, and have a red pantiled roof.
