Description

51 High Street is an early 19th-century building featuring a painted brick front and a parapet, which conceals an earlier timber-frame structure. The building has a steep gable-ended roof covered with pantiles and includes three modern flat-roofed dormers. There are three sash windows with glazing bars, each topped with rubbed brick flat arches. On the ground floor, there is a doorcase to the left of center, which has a moulded architrave and entablature, with panelled reveals and a glazed and panelled door. To the right, there is a later glazed door.
