Description

These are three 19th-century buildings located at 17-19 Market Place. They are built as a single composition, three stories high. The central bay on the first and second floors features central glazing bars and a narrow arched window on the right. Five pilasters run through the first and second floors. The building has a brick cornice with a toothed and enriched detail, as well as a toothed band at the second floor level. Numbers 17 and 19 have shop fronts; number 17’s shop front features pilasters, while number 19 has a 20th-century shop front with glazed brick flank pilasters. Numbers 13-22 Market Place form a group.
