Description
Nethergate Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the early to mid-18th century. It is built of red brick and covered with red pantiles. The building is two stories high and has five bays. On the ground floor, there are four cross windows with wooden frames and cast iron opening casements, all situated under segmental brick arches. The first floor features four casements beneath 20th-century soldier arches. The entrance has a pedimented wooden doorcase with brackets, leading to a 20th-century door. The farmhouse has a cornice from the 20th century and a steeply pitched roof with a central stack. At the rear, there is a 20th-century flat-roofed extension.
