Description
Yafforth Grange is a farmhouse dating from the late 18th century to early 19th century. It is constructed of red brick, with the front and sides rendered, and features a concrete tile roof. The building has two storeys and three bays, with a lower right rear wing. The central entrance consists of a six-panel door topped by a fanlight, all set within a stone architrave on a plinth that includes consoles and an open pediment. On either side of the door are 20th-century casement windows. The first floor has three four-pane sash windows, each with stone architraves supported by brackets and featuring keystones. The roof is adorned with shaped kneelers and ashlar coping, and there is an end stack located to the left.
