BARTON TURF HALL ROAD TG 32 SE 3/14 Coach House 50m North of Barton Hall 16.4.55 G.V. II

Coach house. 1742. Brick with roofs of black glazed pantiles. 2 storey gabled central block flanked by single storey aisles with lean-to roofs. Sliding central doors below weatherboarding. Moulded string course at first floor below large Diocletian window with arch of gauged brickwork. Side aisles have carriage doors under segmental arches and are set back. String course continues from principal block as eaves course. Central octagonal and domed lantern on ridge of main gable.
