Description
This coach house, built in 1742, is located 50 meters north of Barton Hall. It is constructed of brick and features roofs made of black glazed pantiles. The building has a two-storey central block with a gable, flanked by single-storey aisles that have lean-to roofs. The central section has sliding doors beneath weatherboarding. A moulded string course runs at the first floor, situated below a large Diocletian window with an arch made of gauged brickwork. The side aisles contain carriage doors set back under segmental arches. The string course continues from the main block as an eaves course. At the top of the main gable, there is a central octagonal and domed lantern on the ridge.
