Description
No 32 and Guild Shop is an early 18th-century brick building with an earlier core and a mid-19th-century red brick front. It features a steep pantile roof with gable ends, the north gable end having brick coping and a chimney stack. The building has a moulded corbelled brick eaves cornice and stands two storeys tall. There are two windows with sashes that do not have glazing bars, topped with flat rubbed brick arches. On the ground floor to the left, there is a small late 19th-century three-light shop window. The central entrance has a moulded architrave doorcase with an entablature and wide cornice, leading to a panelled and glazed door. A brick string course runs at floor level, and there are brick chimney stacks at the north end and off centre. At the rear on the ground floor, there is a four-light ovolo moulded mullion/transom window.
