Description

The building is a Post Office, likely dating from the 17th century, and it has two storeys. The first floor features a plastered timber-frame, while the ground floor is faced with brick. It has a steep pantile roof with gable ends. On the first floor, there are two sash windows, with the right-hand window having thick glazing bars. The ground floor includes a right-hand carriageway that features a Victorian Tudor moulded arch with spandrels and large double doors with wrought iron hinges. To the left, there is a small late 19th-century shop that serves as the Post Office, which has a drip on shaped brackets. A brick chimney stack is located at the south end of the building.
