Description
Number 19 on High Street is a building from the 16th or 17th century, featuring two storeys. The first floor is timber-framed with closely spaced studs and painted brick and plaster panels, while the ground floor is constructed of flint with brick dressings. The roof is steep, gable-ended, and covered with pantiles, featuring wide eaves. On the first floor, there are three sash windows with glazing bars. The ground floor has a small canted shop window from the early to mid-19th century, also with glazing bars and a cornice. In the centre, there are two doors within moulded doorcases: one is a fielded panel door and the other is a glazed door. To the right, there is a small shop window from the late 19th century. Inside, the building has moulded beams. It is listed as Grade II* due to its group value.
