Description
No. 18 High Street is a 18th-century building with a red brick exterior that covers an earlier structure. It features a steep roof made of black-glazed pantiles with coped gable ends. The building has brick dentil eaves and a brick string course at the floor level. It stands two storeys tall, with three windows on the first floor, the center one being blind. The windows are sashes without glazing bars and have flat rubbed brick arches. On the ground floor, there is a 19th-century splayed bay window on the right and a three-light window with glazing bars on the left. The entrance is marked by a central glazed door with a rectangular fanlight above it, all set in a moulded case. A large brick chimney stack is located at the north end of the building.
