Description
30 High Street is a 18th-century building constructed of red brick, featuring an earlier core. It has a steep pantile roof with gabled ends and stands two storeys high with an attic. The façade includes five windows with flat rubbed brick arches, sashes that have glazing bars, and some original thick glazing bars with exposed casing. The central entrance boasts a moulded architrave doorcase topped with an entablature and a wide cornice, leading to a well-crafted fielded panel door that has triangular panels in the lower half. The ground floor windows are fitted with panelled shutters, while the left side features fielded panel shutters. There are two modern flat-roofed dormers, and a brick chimney stack is located at the centre and south end of the building. A string course of rubbed brick runs at floor level.
