Description

The Feathers Hotel is an 18th-century building located on the south side of Holt Market Place. It features a rendered and colorwashed exterior with a steep black-glazed pantile roof. The hotel is two stories tall with an attic and has a five-bay facade. The windows are sash style with glazing bars and architraves. There are two doorcases, each adorned with fluted pilasters and six-panelled doors. The building also includes three lead-roofed dormers with casement windows. It has two chimney stacks, one located off-center and the other at the party wall with No. 2. The eastern gable is parapetted, and a coat of arms is displayed above the central doorway.
