Description
Nos 11 and 13 Market Place are 18th-century buildings that have been rendered and colourwashed. They feature a steep hipped black pantile roof and rise two storeys with an attic. The windows include sashes with glazing bars, although No 11 has later first-floor sashes without glazing bars. There are modern flat-roofed dormers with casements, two on the south elevation and one on the east. The buildings have a moulded eaves cornice and display good later shopfronts with classical detailing and Ionic columns. To the north, there is a wing constructed of brick, flint, and pantiles.
