Description

No. 2 Market Place is an 18th-century building that has been rendered and colourwashed, featuring a steep pantile roof. It is a double pile structure with an 'M' shaped roof and has two storeys. The facade consists of five bays, with sash windows that include glazing bars. There is a modern shopfront that occupies three bays on the right-hand side. The building has a bracketed timber eaves cornice, and there are some modern casement windows on the south elevation. The eaves are adorned with dentils, and the gables to the west are coped and parapetted.
