Description
This is an 18th-century building on the south side of Holt High Street, originally listed as Manor House. It is constructed of red brick and flint, with a hipped roof covered in black-glazed pantiles. The building has two storeys and attics, and features rusticated brick quoins. The front facade is five bays wide, with sash windows on the first floor, each having a rubbed brick arch and keystone. A central, pedimented doorcase is supported by fluted Doric columns and topped with a semi-circular fanlight incorporating ‘Y’ tracery. There are two modern shopfronts. A moulded brick eaves course is present, along with three flat-roofed dormers containing casements. The central bay slightly projects and features brick rustication at first-floor level. A modern dormer is located on the western side. A two-storey wing extends to the south, with a parapetted gable.
