Description
No. 1 Market Place is an early 19th-century building featuring red brick construction and a hipped black-glazed pantile roof. It stands two storeys tall with an attic. The ground floor has a modern shopfront, while the first floor is adorned with sash windows that include glazing bars and stone lintels. The building also has bracketted eaves and a dormer window with a sash on the south side.
