Description

Nos 3 and 3A on Market Place are early 19th-century buildings constructed from colourwashed brick and topped with a hipped black pantile roof. They stand two storeys tall and feature sash windows with glazing bars, although there is one blocked window opening on the south elevation. The southwest corner is splayed, and there is a shopfront with a pedimented doorway located on this corner. The buildings also have bracketted eaves and a yellow brick chimney stack situated at the party wall with No 5.
