Hotel. Mid C19. Render, probably grooved as ashlar originally, applied half-timbering to gable end on facade, slate roof, roughcast stacks left gable end and between second and third bays right. Plan: long range on corner side, abutting building to north-east (not of special interest). Two storeys plus attic, 2:3:1 bays, 2 cambered head dormers with 12-pane sash windows flanking pedimented centre with adjoining pair of 12-pane sash windows in half-timbered pediment corbelled out with carved end brackets, all windows 12-pane sashes with central flat roofed porch, entablature carried on pilasters with recessed panels, half glazed outer and inner doors, latter with engraved glass.
