Description
Nos 61 and 63 on High Street are 16th-century buildings that have undergone 19th-century alterations. They are two storeys high and feature a timber-frame construction. The first floor juts out and is covered in stucco, while the ground floor is faced with late 19th-century red brick. The steep roof is made of pantiles and has gable ends. On the first floor, there are three late 19th-century sash windows without glazing bars. The ground floor has two similar sash windows on the left, a round-headed doorway off centre, and a small late 19th-century four-light shop window and doorway on the right. The end wall is made of late 19th-century brick and flint. Inside, there are moulded beams and exposed timber-framing. At the rear, there is a late 19th-century wing made of flint and brick, which is also two storeys high.
