Description

The walls, gates, and gate piers to the kitchen garden located 100 meters north of Garden Cottage are late 18th century structures. The kitchen garden is enclosed by red brick walls that feature moulded gault brick cornices and capping, arranged in a series of courtyards. Some openings in the walls have pedimented gault brick surrounds. The main entrance is marked by gault brick piers that have moulded caps and is complemented by well-crafted iron gates.
