Description

No. 30 on Holt Road is a pair of houses built around 1840. The structure is made of flint with brick dressings and has a roof covered with red pantiles. It is two stories tall and consists of three bays. On the ground floor, there are two sash windows with glazing bars, each framed by brick quoined surrounds and topped with flat rubbed brick arches. The first floor features three sash windows with glazing bars, also with quoined surrounds and a rubbed brick semi-circular arch above. The door and garage entrance for No. 30 were added in the 20th century. The first floor has two additional sash windows with glazing bars, quoined brick surrounds, and flat rubbed brick arches. The building has end quoins and a hipped roof, with stacks on the party wall and the east hip. This property is included for its group value.
