Description

This is a mid-19th century terrace of twenty-one cottages, located on the south side of Railway Road, and situated adjoining the west side of the Railway Hotel. The cottages are two storeys high and have one sash window at each floor. They are constructed of carstone with buff brick dressings. The roofs are slate. Each cottage has a recessed panel above an arched entrance, which features a four-panel door and a blank tympanum. Numbers 77 to 87 (odd) form a cohesive group.
