Description

The railway station, built in 1846, is constructed from carstone with pale brick dressings. It features a shaped gable with stone copings on either side of the front. The building has a chamfered plinth and wood mullion transom casements with metal lights that contain lozenge panes. The windows and central entrance have chamfered jambs and gauged flat arches. Additionally, there are diagonally set chimney shafts.
