Description
This is an 18th-century carstone wall forming the front boundary of Number 12 (Dial House). Nearer the house, the wall is low and set between square brick piers. It rises to approximately 7 feet in height and extends eastward, terminating at pairs of square gate piers topped with stone balls. A wide, sloping cope runs along the wall’s top, extending in front of Dial Bungalow. The front wall of Dial Bungalow, Number 12, and an adjoining outbuilding are considered to form a group.
