Description

This is an early 19th-century terrace of cottages located on Church Street. The facade is rendered and has been colourwashed, though the side elevation is of red brick with flint panels. The roof is slate. The terrace is two storeys high and each cottage has a single window. Most windows are sashes with glazing bars, with the exception of No. 15, which has modern windows. The ground floor windows and doors are distinguished by vermiculated keystones. The door architraves are plain, with truncated ogee curves. Numbers 9 to 15 (odd) form a group with numbers 8 and 10 opposite, and with the garden wall of number 2, Grey's Hill.
