Description

25 and 27 Church Street are early 19th century cottages made of red brick. They are joined together but have separate hipped slate roofs. Each cottage is two storeys high and has two windows. Number 25 features sash windows with glazing bars and a small flat hood above the door, while number 27 has modern windows. These cottages, along with Nos 9 to 27 (odd), form a group with Nos 8 and 10 opposite, and with the garden wall of No 2, Grey's Hill.
