Description

This is a headstone dedicated to Henry Wright, located 7 meters south of the nave of the Church of St. John. It dates from 1733 and is made of limestone. The headstone has a rectangular shape with a segmental coved set-back top. It features a pair of Tuscan columns that support a moulded entablature, which contains a bowed oval inscription panel. In the spandrels of the panel, there are representations of a crown and thorns. Above the entablature, there is a winged cherub head.
