Description

The headstone to Thomas Wright, located 16 meters south of the chancel of St. Andrews Church, is made of ashlar and dates from 1768. It features a pair of engaged Ionic columns that support an entablature, which encloses a circular, bowed inscription panel. The spandrels contain rosettes, and above the entablature is a moulded set-back segmental projection adorned with a carved cherub's head.
