Description

Barn at Grange Farm, dated 1774, is constructed of brick in English bond and features a pantile roof. It has a cruciform plan and is a single storey in height. The west gabled transept has double doors, and the gable head displays tumbling. The gabled roof has a very long slope that extends down to the low principal walls. The main gable heads also show tumbling. Inside, there is a tie beam roof with principal rafters and collars, along with staggered butt purlins.
