Description

This pair of cottages, dating from the 18th century, is located to the east of Mostyn in Burnham Market. They are constructed of red brick with black headers in a Flemish bond pattern and feature a red pantiled roof. The cottages are two storeys high and consist of four bays.

The cottage on the west side has a single ground floor sash window with glazing bars and boarded shutters, along with a single first floor sash window also with glazing bars. There is a boarded part-glazed door from around 1900. The cottage on the east side has one ground floor and one first floor window, both sashes with glazing bars, and a boarded door that is partly glazed with margin lights.

Additional architectural details include a ground floor brick plinth, a moulded brick platband at the first floor level, and a dentil eaves cornice. There are also two blocked first floor windows and a single casement dormer with glazing bars on the west cottage. Both cottages have two end stacks.
