Description

The gable end and west wall of a workshop located at the rear of a builders merchants, situated 50 yards south-west of Church Bridge in Upwell, is a significant part of the right-hand rear range of a medieval lodging or guest house, likely dating from the 14th century. The structure is built of coursed Barnack ashlar and features a splayed plinth. It stands two storeys tall.
