Description
The Albert Victor Public House is an 18th-century public house located on the north side of Stock's Green in Castle Acre. The building features plaster render on brick and is topped with red and black glazed pantiles. It stands two storeys high and has three windows on each floor, which are fitted with 20th-century replacement sashes that include glazing bars. The entrance is marked by a simple wooden pilaster strip doorcase, complete with console brackets and a gable pediment. Above the door, there is an arched embrasure with a well-crafted glazing bar fanlight. The door itself, dating from around 1900, includes a glazed roundel with lettering. The building has one axial stack and one stack at the east end.
