Description

The forecourt walls of Dovecote Farmhouse are partly from the late 16th century and were rebuilt in the 18th century. They are constructed of brick and feature square gate piers topped with ball finials that display Tudor roses. The walls extend to the north and east, enclosing the forecourt in front of the house. The brickwork is of indeterminate bond and is topped with semi-circular coping tiles.
