Description

This is a 15th-century sculpture located in the churchyard of Walpole St. Andrew. Made of limestone, it is a relocated corbel that was originally part of an opposing pair set into the wall at the north entrance to the churchyard. The sculpture is a square section masonry block, carved in the form of a crouching grotesque.
