Description

The icehouse, located 50 metres southeast of Burnham Hall Farmhouse, was originally an outbuilding to Burnham Westgate Hall, built around 1800. It features knapped flint with brick dressings, clunch lined walls, and a brick vault leading to a domed brick pit. The facade includes a brick dressed arch over a boarded door, brick coping, and rectangular end piers that are also brick dressed and topped with copings.
